1. Acceptance of Terms

Carte, including carte.gg and related services ("the Service"), is operated by Manifold Technologies Ltd. ("Manifold", "we", "us" or "our"), a technology company headquartered in British Columbia, Canada.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, do not access or use the Service.

2. Services Overview

Carte is a digital card platform. The Service helps users discover, collect, and interact with digital art cards created by independent artists.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Carte, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Your Account

To access most features, you must create an account. Your username may be publicly displayed. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it.

You must comply with all applicable laws when using the Service. Your access may be interrupted due to updates, maintenance, or other reasons at Manifold's discretion.

5. Digital Goods & Credits

The Service involves digital goods (such as digital art cards) and in-app credits. Credits have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash. We do not guarantee any value or transferability of digital goods.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including text, images, logos, software, and all content, is the property of Manifold or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any intellectual property without prior written permission.

7. License to Use

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial use, subject to compliance with these Terms.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Use another user's account without permission
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations
• Engage in fraud, illegal activities, or money laundering
• Use bots, automated scripts, or data scraping tools
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Bypass security measures or interfere with the Service
• Manipulate search rankings or traffic
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users

9. Third-Party Content

The Service may display content from third-party creators. Manifold does not guarantee the authenticity, quality, or availability of third-party content or digital assets. Users are responsible for verifying legitimacy before any transactions.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Manifold disclaims all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manifold shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to Manifold, if any.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Manifold, its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Modification & Termination

Manifold may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, or suspend or terminate your access, at any time with or without notice. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

15. General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Manifold regarding the Service. If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
